We have just had a breakdown in talks between the Royal Mail management and unions as they try to move into the 21st century. part of the problem is the cost cutting measures necessary to make them more competitive... here is one that made me peeved... no postal collections on Sundays... which is when we post family stuff having put it together the day before... not all stuff gets done by email! So how do the Royal Mail work within government constraints and with their staff to transform themselves? Blogged on the radical change they are facing here. As someone once said
"You can't afford to cost cut your way to greatness. You have to invest your way to greatness with great products and services.... the stuff people want from you."
